Respecting the existing character
The greatest value of renovation often lies not in what we add, but in what we manage to preserve. In the project Residential House Rogaška, one of the main goals was to preserve the character of the nearly hundred-year-old house and combine it with modern architectural and design solutions. The result is a home that does not feel like a new build, but rather a natural continuation of the object's story.
Every house carries its own story. Some tell it through architectural details, others through the generations of people who have lived in it. Residential House Rogaška is one of those projects where the past and modernity meet in a way that does not take away the object's identity, but rather enhances it.
The renovation of a nearly 100-year-old house presented an opportunity to adapt the existing structure to modern living standards while preserving the sense of homeliness and character that has developed over decades within its walls. Instead of demolition and new construction, we chose the path of thoughtful renovation, demonstrating that even older buildings can become modern, energy-efficient, and architecturally refined homes.
The exterior of the house today is marked by clean lines, a calm colour palette, and refined contrasts between the light facade and dark architectural highlights. The renovated appearance feels modern, yet does not aggressively stand out from the environment, but respectfully continues the story of the object and its location.
The interior also gives a special stamp to the project. Natural wood decorations, soft earthy tones, and thoughtfully selected materials create an atmosphere that is both elegant and pleasant. The spaces are designed with everyday use in mind, so functionality has never been subordinated to aesthetics. On the contrary – both have been inextricably linked throughout the entire project.
In the sleeping areas, there is a prevailing sense of warmth and calmness, while the bathrooms and living spaces, with their selected materials and details, create a feeling of hotel comfort. Custom furniture allows for optimal use of space and contributes to the cohesive image of the entire home.
The Residential House Rogaška project is a beautiful example of how renovation can exceed mere construction intervention. It is a process in which the building rediscovers its potential, and the investor gains a home that corresponds to their lifestyle and will continue to tell its story in the coming decades.

Project scope
From the first ideas and design of the renovation to the final execution and furnishing, we managed the project holistically. By connecting architecture, interior design, and execution planning, we ensured the coherence of all project phases and created a home that combines functionality, aesthetics, and quality of living.
